Prague, 4. – 7.11. 2021
Praga Cantat festival did not take place in the year 2020 due to a coronavirus pandemic. We will continue in the year 2021. The last edition of the competition was held from 31st October to 3rd November 2019. Praga Cntat competition is one of the most important choir events in Prague. 929 choirs from 43 countries attended in the past 33 festival years. The total number of singers who have visited these Prague festivals is 40 647.
Praga Cantat festival is not an exclusive competition. Alongside the excellent choirs there are also choirs at the beginning of their development and those which want to match with the others and feel the beautiful atmosphere of the competition. The international and professional jury does not only judge the performances of the choirs but also gives valuable recommendations which may help the choir leaders with their following work.
