PRAGA CANTAT 2014
28th International Choir Competition and Festival
Prague, 30.10. – 2.11. 2014
Praga Cantat festival of which the 27th edition was held from 31th October to 3rd November 2013 became one of the most important choir events in Prague. The previous 27 festivals was attended by 790 choirs from 33 countries. The total number of singers who have visited this Prague's festival is 29 800.
Praga Cantat festival is not an exclusive competition. Alongside the excellent choirs there are also choirs at the beginning of their development and those which want to match with the others and feel the beautiful atmosphere of the competition. The international and professional jury does not only judge the performances of the choirs but also gives valuable recommendations which may help the choir leaders with their following work.
