PRAGA CANTAT 2013
27th International Choir Competition and Festival
Prague, 31.10. – 3.11. 2013
Praga Cantat festival of which the 26th edition was held from 25th to 28th of October 2012 became one of the most important choir events in Prague. The previous 26 festivals was attended by 770 choirs from 31 countries. The total number of singers who have visited this Prague's festival is 29 200.
Praga Cantat festival is not an exclusive competition. Alongside the excellent choirs there are also choirs at the beginning of their development and those which want to match with the others and feel the beautiful atmosphere of the competition. The international and professional jury does not only judge the performances of the choirs but also gives valuable recommendations which may help the choir leaders with their following work.
